Hello, I’m Stasia Kravets, a commercial photographer specializing in fashion, beauty, and personal branding, based in Amsterdam.
My journey as a photographer began early in my teens. I chose this path at 17, camera in hand, light flashes above my head, and early-morning studio shoots. It was a pivotal decision that set the course for my life. Made in Ukraine, it opened doors for me to work internationally.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with more than 200 fashion and beauty brands across Europe, including in the Netherlands, Estonia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Belgium. I’ve worked on fashion shoots for clients like Bijenkorf, Calvin Klein, Ace, The Lace, 13 Mission, Capsula44, Circul, The Others, and more.
My work has been featured in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, British Vogue, and other leading magazines.
Now based in Amsterdam, I am deeply in love with this city and its people. The energy here allows me to work at a pace that feels right, giving me space to find a balance between commercial photography and art.
Early in my photography journey, I worked with brands that were just starting out — and together we celebrated their first magazine features, successful campaigns, and exciting collaborations. Working with them demanded a lot from me: I wore every hat — art director, stylist, mentor — teaching new teams what it means to create something truly beautiful and professional.
Before long, local influencers started noticing my work. Recommendations followed. Someone believed in me and simply said, "I know you can do this" — and that's how I stepped into a new level of projects: professional teams, my images on billboards across the country, features in top publications. Taking on project after project, living and breathing each one, I built a strong network of clients and connections remarkably fast.

Even after the war began and I left Ukraine, clients were still waiting for me — major brands offering staff photographer roles, collections timed around my brief visits to Kyiv just so we could shoot together. Because they knew me, trusted me, and had a workflow with me that simply worked.
I was 21 at that time. Something in me was searching for both adventure and peaceful sky above my head. That's how I landed a contract with a local Dutch production company — where over a few months I sharpened my professional English, deepened my technical knowledge, and worked with brands like Calvin Klein and Bijenkorf.
That experience led me to a decision: to stay, and to build something new here in the Netherlands — a different market, a different energy, but no less exciting.
Now I have my own photo studio where I spend several days a week with my assistant there. My work takes me across the Netherlands and Europe — Estonia, Belgium, Spain, Tenerif, Turkey and others. I found my new passion in jewelry photography, and someone I truly love to made me move to Haarlem.
My work has been published in Forbes, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue UK, and on the social media pages of such brands as Alohas, Soho Amsterdam, TSUM Kyiv, and others.
